Frondoso is a song that reflects the personal struggle of leaving one's home and starting anew. In Spanish, Frondoso comes from a sense of abundance, trees forming a thicket. I came to a country when I didn't know how to speak English and had no idea of how I was going to survive without my family and friends. The song and the EP capture the essence of emotional turmoil and growth, it was inspired by the fact that cempasúchil flowers do not bloom during the fall over here in Canada, reminding me that even in the darkest of times, beauty can be found with other different flowers and essences, that new friends will appear and that everything will be okay. It made me realize how much I love my new home, how much I love new flavors, new flowers, new sunsets, and that blooming is part of life, it requires having an open mind and an open heart.

Frondoso is an invitation for all to grow together in harmony and love, is a journey for living in the present and having compassion for ourselves and our surroundings, if you see someone blooming, bloom with them.
